Q?Which parts of the UK do you cover?
A.

Mini Piling Plant Hire is nationwide and covers the whole of the UK and The Republic of Ireland. No area is too far or too remote, please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.

Q?Do you supply piling operatives?
A.

Whilst we don’t have our own operatives to hire with machines, we do have close working relationships with numerous companies who specialise in the supply of temporary labour, specifically for the piling industry. We can either refer you to one of our partners, or organise and supply certified operatives through them to save you the trouble.

Q?What do I need to hire plant and equipment?
A.

In order to hire equipment we would have to setup a customer account for you. All we would need to do this is a copy of your company letterhead and confirmation of your hired in plant insurance policy. If you don’t have insurance for hired in plant, or would like to hire as an individual, please call us on 01616221169 and our team will assist you.

Q?What are your terms and conditions?
A.

To make things simple all our hires are subject to CPA terms and conditions. The CPA, Construction Plant-hire Association terms and conditions are the industry standard. You can find out more on their website www.cpa.uk.net

Q?who do I need to contact for hire rates?
A.

Please call us on 01616221169 and one of our team will provide you with hire rates and a transport quotation if required.

Q?Is there a minimum hire period on your plant and equipment?
A.

All our items are chargeable at a minimum 1 week hire (5 working days). If you continue the hire after the first week you will only be charged pro-rata for the days you are hiring equipment.

Q?If I can’t find something on your website, can you still supply it?
A.

Yes, we supply too much equipment to list everything on our website and can provide anything from site accomodation units to water pumps. Simply call us on 01616221169 to discuss your requirements. Alternatively you can use the contact form on the “contact us” page of our website.

Q?Am I responsible for equipment whilst it is on hire?
A.

Yes, you are responsible for keeping the equipment and machinery safe and properly maintained whilst on hire, including where the equipment requires fuel, oil and / or electricity ensure that the proper type and/or voltage is used and that, where appropriate the equipment is properly installed by a qualified and competent person, keeping all equipment fueled and checking levels. If you have any problem with an item of equipment on hire please call our office immediately.

Q?What if access to the site is limited?
A.

Mini Piling Plant Hire have a comprehensive range of specialist mini piling rigs that will enable you to access even the most restricted sites. We can supply compact tracked piling rigs, electric or low emission rigs, remote power packs with extended hydraulic umbilical hoses and pneumatic air hammers capable of accessing sites through even a standard width doorway.

Q?How do I know it the land is suitable for pile installation?
A.

If you are not sure if a site is suitable for pile installation, Mini Piling Plant Hire can visit your site to conduct a site investigation and recommendation report. Data gathered by window sampling will be provided through a full recommendation report. This will help you to select the most suitable pile installation method and avoid costly mistakes on site.

Q?Is pile installation noisy and disruptive?
A.

Different piling methods create varying levels of noise and vibration and whilst there will always be some level of noise and disruption we can supply low vibration drilling rigs for augering or pre drilling and vibration monitors for work on noise sensitive sites.
